THE FIRST PROTO ORIGINATOR OF SAVE GIRL CHILD MOVEMENT IN INDIA

DR. SUDHA KANKARIA from Ahmednagar Maharashtra born on 15th Dec 1960 is The First Proto Originator of Save Girl Child Movement in India. She is The Pioneer of this movement. This movement initiated by her in 1985. She is working dedicatedly and continuously till today for this cause. Her more over Three Tenacity work very much appreciable which has made positive impact by improvement in sex ratio. For this movement Dr Sudha targeted all aspects like dealing with mind sets, law enforcement, policy measures and leveraging community efforts. Structural approach was taken for movement through 11 point action plan which included innovative approaches like 8th Vow during marriage, Resolution in Gramsabha, Mass oath, ANC tracking etc. Large scale renaming initiative was taken to change name from Nakoshi (unwanted) to give such girls new life for which global media took notice. Up till now Dr Sudha is recipient of more than 150 Awards. We appreciate and congratulate Dr Sudha Kankaria for her pioneering devotional divine work.
